COVID-19: NCOC issues new lockdown rules

Lahore, 28th October: Significant steps have been taken to curb the growing number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan.

Baaghi TV: The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has decided to close shopping malls, shops and markets across the country at 10 pm to curb the rising cases of the coronavirus.

All wedding halls and restaurants across the country will also be closed at 10 pm, according to orders issued by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC). In addition, it has been decided to close amusement parks and parks at 6 pm.

A statement issued by the NCOC said that medical stores, clinics and hospitals would be exempted from the ban and would remain open. Authorities have also made it mandatory to wear a face mask. Violation will result in heavy fines.

The Islamabad administration, while enforcing section 144, has made it mandatory to wear masks in all shopping malls, shops and public places for the next two months. Violators will be fined.
