Lahore, 25th Feb: According to the reports of BaaghiTV, the 1st of the Islamic month, Rajab will occur on February 26th and Shab-e-Meraj on the 22nd of March.
The committee has not received any evidence of moon sighting from any place in Pakistan yet.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, has announced that the moon of the month of Rajab was not visible today, so the 1st Rajab will occur on Wednesday, February 26 and Shab-e-Meraj on Sunday 22nd March.
The meeting of the Central Ruat Hilal Committee Pakistan was held at the Meteorological Office Karachi, chaired by Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
The meeting was also attended by members of the Central and Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees, experts from the Meteorological Department and Sparco.
After that, it was unanimously decided that the 1st Rajab will be on Wednesday 26th February 2020 and Shab-e-Meraj will be on the 22nd of March (Sunday midnight and Monday).
