According to the report of Baaghi TV, the police could not arrest the main accused Abid in the motorway rape case but arrested his second wife.
Bushra Bibi, the second wife of the main accused Abid, has recorded her initial statement to the police. The woman recorded the statement and said that she had a second marriage with Abid. Abid didn’t come home for several days, and when I asked, he would beat me.
Bushra Bibi told police that Abid had come home after the incident and was looking very upset. Abid did not tell me anything about the incident, but when Abid was identified after the incident, he fled.
Abid’s wife Bushra Bibi further said that I also left the girl at home and came to my parents’ house.
According to police officials, 66 raids have been carried out so far to nab Abid on the indication of arrested accused Shafqat. The technical wing is now useless for arresting the main accused Abid. The accused has stopped using his mobile phone due to which traditional policing is now being carried out.
The main accused Abid’s wife Bushra Bibi was taken into custody by the police from Manga Mandi. Bushra Bibi is second wife of the accused Abid. A woman resident of Tandlianwala Tehsil of Faisalabad has 4 children from her ex-husband. According to sources, Bushra Bibi had fled with Abid during the police raid on Qila Sattar Shah.
