Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Sirajul Haq announced this in a media talk. He said that his party would hold a sit-in in front of the Chief Minister’s House on September 17 over the incident of rape of a woman on the motorway. He said that the woman was oppressed but government representatives were making irresponsible statements. The woman sought help from the government but did not receive it.
Earlier, addressing a function in Mansura, Siraj-ul-Haq said that the aim of a believer’s politics is not personal but to prevail over religion.
