Saudia to lift Umrah & travel bans

According to sources, according to the Saudi Interior Ministry, Saudi Arabia has announced the restoration of the traffic system for citizens to travel on land, sea and air routes from January 1, 2021.
Transportation activities in Saudi Arabia were suspended due to Covid-19. Business and other activities are being phased out in Saudi Arabia due to the steady decline in Corona cases.

Under which Saudi Arabia has decided to resume all activities for transportation in the country by land, air and sea routes including trade activities. Saudi Arabia has announced the lifting of travel bans imposed on Krona from January 1, 2021. According to the Saudi Interior Ministry, Saudi airports, seaports and border checkpoints will be opened from January 1, 2021, and Saudi citizens will be able to travel abroad. Foreigners on exit vows (special visas) will be allowed to return to Saudi Arabia.

Saudi officials say a strategy for Umrah will be decided later. According to Saudi media, Saudi citizens and residents in certain categories will be allowed to travel internationally from September 15. It is estimated that 4,000 people have died in Saudi Arabia due to corona, while the number of infected patients has exceeded 300,000.
