Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa addressed the media and told them that defending this land should be everyone’s top priority.

He claims that the journey of a stable Pakistan from its inception to date is adorned with the great traditions of the Pakistani nation’s passions, selflessness and patriotism.

He stated that the candle which our elders lit the candle of freedom from their sacrifice had faced severe tests from the beginning, be it 1948; the war of September 1965; the battle of 1971; Kargil War; or the long war against terrorism. And enduring war, every trial has proved that we know how to defend our country in any situation and are ready to pay any price for it.
