Nagorno-Karabakh: Turkey’s support is unacceptable
Moscow, 23rd October: Turkey’s support for Azerbaijan is not acceptable, Putin gives a strong message.
Baaghi TV: Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly said that Turkey’s support for Azerbaijan on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue is not acceptable.
According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Russian President Putin said that about 5,000 people have been killed in the ongoing fight between Azerbaijan and Armenia, in which more than 2,2,000 people have been killed on both sides. There are more casualties than expected.
The Russian president said he had repeatedly told both sides that he would never support the conflict, adding that Turkey’s support for Azerbaijan on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue was unacceptable.
According to British media, Russia is a military ally of Armenia and has a military base there, while Russia also has close ties with Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that hundreds of soldiers have been killed so far in the ongoing war between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
Yesterday, Turkey announced that it would send troops to Azerbaijan if asked for help.
