Nasir Shah Wani – Pakistani Entrepreneur who took care of his dreams through Urdu Live and Pakistan E Group

Lahore, 27th June: With all the hype about digital marketing and online presence, many laymen stood and crafted a journey that took them to the heights of success. The success which they once thought is unattainable became theirs with the practice of three components.

Hard work, resistance, and passion. However, the biggest loss lies in making excuses. Likewise, those who made a pact to themselves of “No Excuse Policy” are today’s sensation.

Meet Mr. Nasir Shah Wani. He is among those handfuls of professionals who looked straight to the goal – creating one of the most happening news TV websites. He worked against all the odds to reach and accomplish his dreams. However, to go places and get known, there were many obstacles and challenges.

Upon interviewing and discussing struggles to combat different provocations, Wani narrated his inspiring story from the scratch.

Wani is one of the questions says, “I was a kid with a bad taste for education. Always wanted to stay away and far from receiving formal education. Instead of going to school, I loved learning about computers, their mechanism, social media marketing, and everything related to IT. Therefore, once and for all, I decided to drop out of school.”

We know it is quite interesting to find inspiration and motivation from Wani. You might think if he left education right in the start, there wasn’t anything left for him to grow and rely on to make a livelihood. But no, you are wrong.

At one point when we asked Wani about his thoughts on education, he said, “education is a must, without it, no one can get exposure of life and surrounding. But for me, it was not much required. I had made my mind of not living a life of mediocre. There was more to do. Hence, with all the challenges in quitting studies and the opposition I faced in my family, I made them proud. My parents today address me as “My Pride”.”

It is clear that he never wanted to study but that was fine as his personality and drive to make his very personal website to entertain the local audience, Pakistanis were very high. He was one of those birds who fly thousands of miles to be at the chosen destination.

Keeping that in mind, we questioned Wani about the challenges and how he faced them. He said, “the day I decided to not look back and keep going ahead, nearer to the mission and goal in mind, everything started making sense. Initially, at the very starting point of quitting studies, I started finding different avenues of growth. Those were the days when the internet and computer were hardly known. With whatever resources in hand, I started marketing.

The more I learned, the deeper I dived. There came a point where I could market anything and, in this process, honestly, there was a lot to offer. Slowly and gradually, I understood dynamics so much so that another decision was made – to start my own business.

With time everything changed – my ideology around working for others, channelizing my struggles to pave another direction, strategic planning, and marketing tactics. But one thing that stood throughout the journey was my personality traits.”

To make the conversation, journey of most successful people in Pakistan, we asked to explain the finesse one takes to reach the pivot point. Upon that he said, “Remember it takes three traits to make a person successful. The first is hard work.

Without hardworking nature one can never think on a broader dimension, the criteria of growth and stability are based on doing justice to the work. Passion stands still as the main ingredient and you will see many people being hard workers but still if they lose passion or have the tendency to give in easily, are stood alone. They are known for a limited time frame, call it temporary.

However, others who are determined and resilient go long way. They don’t get tired as such because passion drives them, let it be me or them.”

Successful ventures of Wani include introducing Pakistan E Group & Urdu Live. Here are his words about the road to success and how he feels now after completing the mission of life.

“At the time of starting my business, I knew a couple of things; marketing and sales, how to run ads and make anything go viral on social media. With time, I learned many new things. Being a keen observer and going into details of everything, my business ideas were primarily inspired outcomes of different accomplished people. Unfortunately, on the way to success point, my dream, my goal … I meet my best friend, “Failure”.

Failure explained its importance and made me realize without falling you are nothing. Because, every time I fell, there was something to learn. Once, I broke financially to the point where I had nothing to eat. But, with all the courage I hold for such times, I gathered myself, put myself together, and started working with the same zest and zeal.

Changing the strategy was a given and I didn’t mind taking risks. One of the prime reasons is that I don’t fear. People who fear are the ones who don’t take the risk.

Today, I am the owner of a well-known and acknowledged Urdu Live, a website where we put different articles and content to keep the audience entertained and well informed. This is a site for all those who are interested in learning important news, news related to Pakistan, world politics and other news, ISPR, police, trade, sports, health, dream club, live TV, and e-paper.
