Nation geared to celebrate Eid-Milad-Nabi in a fitting manner
Oct 17, 2021: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday urged the nation to celebrate Eid Milad, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) in a befitting and unprecedented manner.
In a special message he said: “As you all know that this is a special month when our Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) came into this world. This is a month of blessings.”
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has said that Hazrat Akram humanity is the only role model for all humanity and his brilliant teachings are the cure for all the problems and evils in the society.
Pir Qadri said he had witnessed the celebrations of Rabiul Awwal in Cairo, Baghdad, Morocco, Tripoli, Tehran and other cities in Muslim countries and added that it was celebrated with devotion and religious fervour there as well. He said that the world should understand that no force could diminish the love and devotion of Muslims for Dar-i-Mustafa (Peace be Upon Him).
He further said that it is important to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon Him) and follow the wonderful teachings of Holy Prophet (peace be upon Him). Mr. Qadri said that the Prime Minister wanted to draw the attention of the youth to the life of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon Hi), because the solution to all problems lies in following the teachings of the holy Prophet.
Since the start of the Islamic month of Rabi-Ul Awal, the Muslim citizens of the country including twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are ready to celebrate fast approaching religious festival of Eid Milad-un Nabi (peace be upon him), and the demand for traditional food and multicolour light business is gaining momentum.
This year, as last year, there is a huge demand for traditional food orders through the online catering business, where large quantities of these items are being prepared and shared with family, friends, neighbors and the needy.
According to retailers selling bright lights, in connection with the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal and its importance as the greatest, greatest and most respected person on earth, the citizens of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) lit houses and bungalows. Citizens have started displaying colorful lights in markets, bazaars, mosques and offices where sales of these items increased.
Vendors have set up several stalls everywhere and in every corner apart from the procession routes and banners, badges, stickers to attract the citizens especially the children.
As the festivities reach their climax, people are distributing free food and drink to relatives, the poor and the needy. On the other hand, the catering business is also growing in the month of Rabi-ul-Awal to meet the demand of the citizens.
