Senior anchor person Junaid Saleem tweeted on social networking site that Nawaz Sharif could not start work on the dam in 15 years, Imran Khan has started in two years. A Politician thinks of next election while a leader thinks about future generations.

It should be noted that Imran Khan has inaugurated Diamer Bhasha Dam. The dam to be built on the Indus River will be the largest RCC in the world, Diamer Bhasha Dam will be used to store 8.1 million acre feet of water, 6.4 million acres of the stored water in the dam can be used.

With the construction of the dam, Pakistan’s water storage capacity will increase from 30 to 48 days. The dam will provide 18.10 billion units of the cheapest electricity annually. Diamer-Bhasha Dam will irrigate 3 million acres.
