Lahore, 4th July: The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has issued detailed instructions for Eid-ul-Adha. In light of these guidelines, cattle markets will be set up outside the city and COVID-19 SOPs will be implemented.
As per guidelines from NCOC, it is mandatory for all staff and traders to be vaccinated against the virus.
Furthermore, NCOC urges the administration to provide facilities for hand sanitizer, mask and rapid antigen test on admission.
NCOC has put a ban on buying and selling animals in the inner city.
The Ministry of National Health Services also said that animal markets should be set up outside the city and they must adhere to the guidelines for social distancing and other protective measures.
According to the latest data by NCOC, the number of vaccines administered in Pakistan has exceeded 16 million. More than 830,000 vaccines were administered in June.
Meanwhile, a delegation led by DG NCOC visited the COVID-19 vaccination center in Gilgit-Baltistan to review the overall situation and vaccination process.
The delegation inspected the vaccination centers at Gilgit, Shigar and Hunza and assured the elders there that the NCOC has decided to vaccinate the registered population at 5% for vaccination in all tourist destinations.
A special team has been formed in Gilgit-Baltistan to prevent coronavirus and improve the vaccination process.
