According to Baaghi TV reports, a meeting is underway at the National Command and Operations Center, chaired by Federal Minister Asad Omar.
At the NCOC meeting, data pertaining to the second wave of corona virus is being reviewed. The meeting is also reviewing the spread of corona virus in major cities of the country. The NCOC meeting is attended by the Ministry of Health, Education and other officials.
The meeting will discuss the winter holidays and discuss ways to prolong and extend the winter holidays.

The Federal Ministry of Education had sent three different proposals to the provinces regarding academic sessions, examinations and closure of educational institutions.
Regarding the closure of educational institutions, the first proposal called for the closure of educational institutions from November 24th to January 31st, or recommended to close primary schools from November 24th, middle schools from December 2nd and higher secondary schools from December 15th. Similarly, the Federal Ministry of Education proposed to extend the academic session to May 31st instead of March.

The second wave of corona virus has intensified in Pakistan. The situation of Korna virus in Punjab province is becoming more worrisome than other provinces. Punjab has the highest number of patients on ventilators due to corona. Sindh 57, Islamabad 43 and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 22 patients are on ventilators.
The second wave of corona virus has started in Pakistan, and SOPs will have to be strictly dealt with to deal with it. According to the NCOC, the corona epidemic is spreading rapidly in 15 cities across the country. Eighty percent of corona cases in Pakistan were reported from eleven major cities.
