The Virtual Training Center established in execution of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between National Highways and Motorways Police (NHMP) and Total Parco Pakistan released its first video on important issue of Road Safety.

According to details, the released video was meant to provide complete awareness about ‘Blind Spot’ while driving a vehicle. Commandant NHMP Training College Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Mehboob Aslam attended the launching ceremony as chief guest. Country head of Total Parco Pakistan Mehmat Celepoglu, senior management of Oil Company and large number of Motorway Police officers also attended the event.

Earlier a MoU was signed by NHMP and Total Parco to make virtual awareness videos on important road safety issues like blind spots, biker’s safety, dozing at wheel, distractions during driving, safe distance, driving in adverse weather conditions, defensive driving etc.

It was revealed by DIG Mehboob Aslam that these videos will be shared not only with general public but special steps will also be taken to use them in training of drivers working in private companies.

DIG Mehboob Aslam further told that special video games containing road safety messages will also be made for the children so that they may know the safety rules before they actually come to road. It was further informed that Total Parco will also cooperate with NHMP in organizing different seminars, road safety walks, briefing sessions and other activities to create road safety awareness among people.

DIG Mehboob Aslam said that working on road safety is prime focus of this department and he considers it best service to humanity.

At the end DIG Mehboob Aslam said that video on Blind Spot is very important for awareness of general public and more videos will be released soon on important road safety issues.
