Nov 4, 2021: During the proceedings in the Noor Muqaddam murder case, another case has been registered against Zahir Jaffer.

Another case has been registered by Islamabad police against Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in Noor Muqaddam murder case.

Zahir Jaffar had attacked the policemen during his court appearance yesterday and allegedly tried to flee.

The incident happened when the main accused Zahir Jaffer said in the court that he wants to address the court, the police made the accused Zahir Jaffar stand at the door of the court behind the curtain, the accused Zahir Jaffar started ranting in the court room. Judge Sessions Court Ata Rabbani said that the accused is playing tricks. Take him away. When he left the court room, accused Zahir Jaffer grabbed the collar of the police inspector and kept calling him Hamza! Hamza!

Police have registered a case after the incident for assaulting an officer of the law and disrupting court activity.

Additionally, federal police have registered another case against Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in the Noor murder case, for interfering in business and attempting suicide in the court premises, the FIR said.

Whilst in the court, the accused started shouting. When the court asked him to take the accused out, the accused refused. The accused pulled the collar of the policeman.

The accused is very cunning and playful. He tried to commit suicide. A case of violation of the sanctity of the court has been registered in Margalla police station.

Zahir Jaffar’s parents are accused of aiding and abetting in the Noor Muqaddam murder case. The parents are of the view that they have nothing to do with the murder of the girl by their son.

They keep asserting the stance that they stand with the affected party and not with their son.

The court has indicted 12 accused including the main accused Zahir Jaffer in Noor Muqaddam murder case. The main accused Zahir Jaffer, Zakir Jaffer, Ismat Adam, Iftikhar, Jamil, Jan. Muhammad and six other accused, including Tahir Zahoor of Therapy Work, have also been charged
