Masters of the human kind are now helpless. This is the Domino effect. I mean anger spilling all across America. America was once the land of the pure, home of the brave… equality on the basis of citizenship makes the home look much braver but, I guess not the case anymore.

The campaign… I can’t breathe its just a precursor. Actually, the black American deaths have outnumbered those of the white Americans during the corona. This is because the black are cornered; nothing to eat, nowhere to go. On top of it. persecutions that have to be called into question.

The dying of George Floyd at this critical juncture is like a pandemic itself. The disproportionate deaths in black community, the surge in unemployment, and now the unjustified death, calls for actionable justice. The criminal justice system is discriminatory, which allows sanctions to the white community for same crimes as opposed to the blacks. All of this has got to change. Hell breaks loose. I hope better sense prevails.

There have been deaths, successively particularly black people dying yielding to undue pressure and arm-twisting in the real sense of the word.

The first human race to settle in America were known as Adonans and gradually more people were coming in and following were the Hopevillians, and then the Mississippians. Initially, America was the land of the protestant Calvinists, indentured servants, Patroons. The emigrants from Europe made their way into America, including the bulk of the American population, who gradually came and settled along different areas. The British came and settled along the river James which came to be known as James town. Different people from different areas.

The first five presidents were of the revolutionary generation, the real care takers of their nation.Thomas Jefferson, a lawyer, became the principal author of the declaration of the independence. The author mentions in the constitution that all citizens are born free, with equal rights. Freedom is an inviolable right of every citizen born. No discrimination on the basis of cast, creed, religion or ethnicity. The beauty of the country lies in its diverse cultural values.

Lincoln was the 16th President of the US. He led his country through the greatest civil war. He abolished slavery and modernized economy. He led his country through its greatest moral, constitutional and political crisis through the great civil war.

The African Americans were initially subjected to harsh realities, a number of activists did hold the banner for them… Martin Luther King Jr. was the champion for raising his voice for the black community. Martin Luther King in one of his speeches said, he wanted to see the sons of the former slaves and the owners of the slaves sit at one table, talk and eat. All culminating into Obama as the first black President of the United States of America.

The ideology of Martin today extends far beyond boundaries of racial discrimination. In a sordid world of pain, hunger, and disparity. His thinking and words are even more resounding. They reflect not just his own black community wretched, but communities of different parts of the world being mauled, pummeled and mistreated, erecting barriers instead of lowering them.

Centralization of power and wealth remains in the hands of the chosen few. The bigger powers have their agendas. Post World War I, the President of the US had gone and met the European leaders. A league of nations was thus founded to resolve issues between the countries through a dialogue when he got home every thing went to the tatters.

The league fell apart. The countries seemed to to have a bigger appetite for even greater territorial controls causing death fear and pain to people living peacefully in their respective countries.

[bs-quote quote=”The league was too feeble to react. Although it remained a centre of hope and peace but, for more territorial gains Hitler, Mussolini, they marched mercilessly.” style=”style-17″ align=”center” color=”#dd0000″ author_name=”Mian Haroon Masood ” author_job=”Political Leader, Pakistan “][/bs-quote]

The show of power is a constant factor which seems to govern the minds and the lives of people. Has any person, leader, general , or any other popular star, ever thought of the mass killings that took place from time to time? Have we ever seen any leader going to the gallows for bringing destruction to people? No… but, the game is played out in such a manner that same faces reappear, through manipulation, deception and corruption.

The social injustices, deprivations, the seeds of racism remained embedded till date.

The killing of black people now, even though there have been killings before, but the conflagration, is not going to stop. The country is riven by strikes and seizures. The killing of George Floyd, in particular, will not go unanswered. It’s time we let all have the liberty to live freely, breathe in a more just environment to realize the ideals of Jeffersonian democracies.
