Nusrat Shahbaz put on trial for Money Laundering
Nusrat Shahbaz, wife of PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif, was prosecuted by a court in Lahore, on Friday in a tax evasion case.
Judge Naseem Ahmed Virk outlined charges against Nusrat, who is out of the country for her clinical treatment, through a pleader, Muhammad Nawaz. Prior to this, the court had pronounced her a declared guilty party over her interminable nonappearance from the preliminary procedures.
The court guided indictment observers to show up on next hearing to record their affidavits.
Punjab Assembly resistance pioneer, Hamza Shahbaz, turned up before the court, under the charges. While this, PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif moved a request through his advice looking for exception from individual appearance in the present hearing, which was allowed.

The court dismissed the case until October 18. It additionally put off the Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing and Ramazan Sugar Mills cases until October 18, as well, with bearing for observers to appear on next hearing.
The leader of opposition, his wife Nusrat Shahbaz, children Hamza and Salman Shahbaz and other relatives are assigned in a reference documented by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) over supposed laundering of PKR 25 billion, earned through wrong means by utilizing the Ramazan Sugar Mills and Al-Arabiya Sugar Mills.
