Oath taking ceremony of Old Ravian’s Union held at Governor House

DIG Jahanzeb Nazir Khan took oath as the President of Old Ravians Union at the Oath Taking Ceremony held at Governor’s House, attended by the Vice Chancellor.

According to Baaghi TV, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar administered oath to the newly elected executive committee at the oath taking ceremony.

Dr. Abdul Basit took oath as the new General Secretary while Tayyab Hussain Rizvi took oath as the Senior Vice President.

The new executive committee also includes Dr Tanveer Hussain Bhatti, Rabia Afzal Wahla, Usman Saeed and Karan Khurshid. Muhammad Jahangir Iqbal Khan took oath as Finance Secretary. On this occasion, Governor Punjab and Vice Chancellor congratulated the new Executive Committee.

On this occasion, the Governor Punjab said that no institution can develop without a good team, Vice Chancellors have been appointed on merit in all the universities across Punjab, he said that the syndicate members should support the Vice Chancellors.

The Governor Punjab said that he would not tolerate conspiracies against the Vice Chancellors. Vice Chancellor Prof. Asghar Zaidi said that alumni should play a central role in the development of their  knowledge. Jahanzeb Nazir Khan presented the Manifesto of the Old Ravians Union as President. Vice Chancellor University of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Javed Akram also attended the ceremony.
