Oman lifts travel ban on 18 countries including Pakistan

Lahore, 23rd August: The Civil Aviation Authority of the Middle Eastern state of Oman has lifted the ban on the entry of citizens from 18 countries, including Pakistan and India.
According to the Times of Oman, Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that citizens of 18 other countries, including Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, who have been vaccinated against coronavirus, can now travel to Oman.

It should be noted that Oman had put these countries on the red list due to the increasing cases of COVID-19. According to the CAA, travelers from these countries can travel to Oman after September 1.
Oman Suspends Passenger Flights From 24 Countries Including Pakistan and India
As per reports, the decision will be effective from 12 pm on September 1, 2021.

Meanwhile, regarding the evacuation of Pakistanis and foreigners from Kabul today, PIA canceled today’s Kabul flight operation.
In view of the situation in Afghanistan, national airlines have started operations from Kabul Airport, during which Pakistanis trapped in Kabul are repatriated by PIA flights. However, PIA canceled today’s Kabul flight operation.
