Opposition eats together before ousting Sanjrani

According to the reports of Baaghi TV sources, 64 senators are found to be attending the opposition’s lunch today.

Contrary to this, the dinner hosted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) last night was attended only by 16 members of the Upper House.

Keeping in mind the current political monopoly going on in the Senate, the number of attendees at the two events hint towards opposition success in managing to display it’s power.

It must be noted that out of the total 103 members of the house, 53 are required to vote against the Chairman in order to pass a ‘no-trust motion‘ against him: the opposition parties all together have 67 votes while the government alliance has only 36.
