ISLAMABAD, August 04 (Online Int’l): Government and opposition leaders have reiterated resolve to continue to extend support to people of Kashmir at national and international level till they secure their right to self-determination.

They expressed this commitment in All Parties Conference (APC) held here under Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday over Kashmir situation.

FM gave detailed briefing to the participants on ongoing gross violations of human rights in Occupied Kashmir and regional security situation. They were also briefed on Youm-e-Istehsal which will be observed on August 5 in solidarity with the people of India-occupied Kashmir (IOK) and human rights violations by the Indian troops in the held valley.

FM said that all Kashmiris have rejected the unilateral and unconstitutional moves taken by Indian government on August 5 last year for annexing Kashmir and scrapping its special status.

Pakistan has exposed India in the world on its violations of human rights in Occupied Kashmir.

He said, “India’s Hindutva mind-set has not posed threat only to Kashmiris but to the entire region’s peace also. India wants to change the demographic composition of the population of occupied Kashmir by altering domicile rules. All political parties of Pakistan are on same page regarding the Kashmir issue.”

Indian government which is pursuing RSS mindset has not only sowed the seeds of hatred among the Muslim but also in all the minorities living in India due to its Hindutva philosophy, he remarked.

India has failed in demoralizing the Kashmiris despite unprecedented oppression and brutalities being perpetrated by Indian forces on innocent people of Kashmir. The real face of India stands unmasked before the world at present, he added.

All the political and religious parties will jointly participate in the rallies and demonstrations on August 5 to express solidarity with Kashmiris.
