Lahore, 9th March: Chief Minister of the Indian state of Uttarakhand has resigned from his position.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, Chief Minister Trivender Singh has reportedly resigned.

According to media reports, Chief Minister Trivender Singh Rawat submitted his resignation to the governor on Tuesday.

The resigned chief minister said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party gave me this opportunity to serve four years ago.”

Chief Minister Trivender Singh Rawat added, “I have never even thought of such a big post. The party gave me the post of Chief Minister with confidence, which is my great fortune.”

According to reports, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand announced his resignation to end the ongoing political crisis in the state.

Earlier today, Chief Minister Rawat held a press conference at 3 pm. After the press conference, the Chief Minister met the Governor at 4 pm to name the new Chief Minister.

According to Indian media, BJP leader Dhan Singh is leading the race for the post of Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. 

Following the news of the resignation of the Chief Minister, the political turmoil has intensified. The ruling BJP has called a consultative meeting in which important decisions are expected.
