April 29, 2021: The 93rd Academy Awards of the United States, the Oscars, were held on April 25, in which the film Nomadland won the most awards, while Facebook also won an award for the first time.
BaaghiTV: The Oscar 2021 Awards ceremony also commemorated the Indian actors who passed away during the last one year in Bollywood. The late stars of Indian film industry Sushant Singh Rajput, Rishi Kapoor, late Irfan Khan and Bano Atiya were also remembered on the occasion of these awards. Banu Atiya and Irfan Khan were added to ‘In Memory’, while Rishi Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput were added to the website’s gallery.
Atiya was the first Oscar-winning designer from India to receive the award for best costume design for the 1982 film Gandhi. Irfan Khan was an international actor who died on April 29 after a long battle with cancer. Actor Rishi Kapoor died at a Mumbai hospital at the age of 67. He was suffering from leukemia or leukemia while actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his flat.
