Pak Army Captain Embraced Martyrdom in Balochistan IED Blast
Lahore, 22nd August: A Pakistan Army Captain was martyred while two other soldiers got injured during an IED landmine blast in Balochistan.
According to reports from Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), a security forces vehicle collided with a landmine planted by terrorists in the Tobo area of Gichikk in Balochistan on Sunday.
As a result of the attack, Captain Kashif embraced martyrdom and 2 youths were wounded. The injured were shifted to a nearby medical center in Khuzdar.
Soldier Martyred in Exchange of Bullets with Terrorists
As per reports from Geo News, a statement from the ISPR read, “Resultantly Capt Kashif embraced shahadat while two soldiers got injured. The injured soldiers have been evacuated to a medical facility at Khuzdar.”
Meanwhile, a terrorist was killed during a security operation in North Waziristan.
One terrorist was killed in an exchange of fire during the operation, while a search operation is underway in view of the possible presence of more terrorists in the area.
Weapons and ammunition have been recovered from slain terrorists, according to ISPR.
