Terrorist firing on a military post in South Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: A young man was martyred in a firing incident at a military post in South Waziristan. According to reports, Deputy Subedar Sonezai was martyred while another terrorist was also killed in a firing incident at a military post in South Waziristan.

A statement from the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) said that terrorists opened fire on a military post in South Waziristan between August 17 and 18.
ISPR said that one terrorist was killed in the exchange of fire while Deputy Subedar Sonezai was also martyred.

The Pakistan Army spokesman further said that the Pakistan Army is committed to eradicating the scourge of terrorism, adding that the sacrifices of the soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
