Baaghi TV: 2,829 new cases of the global corona virus have been reported in Pakistan and the total number of people affected has reached 395,185.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, 43 deaths have been reported from Corona in the last 24 hours and the total number of deaths has reached 7,985. In Pakistan, 339,810 Corona victims have recovered and 47,390 are undergoing treatment.
The number of corona cases is 29,782 in Islamabad, 46,877 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 171,595 in Sindh, 118,511 in Punjab, 17,101 in Balochistan, 6,682 in Azad Kashmir and 4,637 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The highest number of deaths due to corona is in Punjab where 2,979 people have lost their lives. 2,911 people have lost their lives in Sindh, 1,359 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 309 in Islamabad, 97 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 166 in Balochistan and 164 in Azad Kashmir. The rate of positive cases of corona virus in Pakistan has reached 7.20%. Peshawar has the highest rate of positive cases reaching 19.65%. The rate of positive cases in Karachi is 17.73 and in Hyderabad it is 16.32%.
Azad Kashmir has 10.79 per cent positive corona cases, Punjab 3.59 per cent, Sindh 13.25 per cent, Balochistan 6.41 per cent, Gilgit-Baltistan 4.81 per cent and Islamabad 5.84 per cent positive corona cases. In Karachi 17.73, Hyderabad 16.32, Quetta 9.77 and Muzaffarabad corona positive cases rate is 10.34%.
According to the NCOC, corona is spreading in 15 cities across the country. Eighty percent of corona cases in Pakistan were reported from eleven major cities.
Special Assistant for Health Dr. Faisal Sultan said that the second wave of corona virus has gradually started in Pakistan. To deal with the second wave, SOPs will have to be strictly adhered to. By taking precautions, we can deal with another wave of corona.
