Pakistan introduces a new instant messaging application
The National Information Technology Board (NITB) and the Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication (IT & Telecom), Pakistan have developed an instant messaging application, which is expected to be launched in the next few days.
According to the NITB, Pakistani experts have developed a mobile application called ‘Beep Pakistan’ locally to protect against cyber attacks. The trial of this app was successful, after which it will be introduced in the next few days.
According to NITB, initially government employees will use ‘Beep Pakistan’ for messaging and document transactions, later the public will also be able to benefit from this application.

Not much is known about this app, but it is certain that it is built in the style of WhatsApp and is being introduced as an alternative. Through this app, messages, audio, video calling, pictures and other documents can be exchanged by connecting to the internet, the data server of which will be in Pakistan.

Officials said the app was developed in collaboration with digital platform NITB and the Ministry of IT & Telecom, which could be a major milestone in the world of communication.
