Government announces petroleum prices for next 15 days

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed an increase in the prices of petroleum products to the Petroleum Division from July 1, 2021.

According to sources, OGRA has sent a summary of the increase in petroleum products to the Petroleum Division. Sources said that OGRA in its summary has proposed to increase the price of petrol by Rs 6 per liter and diesel by Rs 3 per liter.

According to sources, the final decision on the prices of petroleum products will be taken by the Finance Ministry in consultation with the Prime Minister.

Court orders former president to jail for contempt

It is to be noted that on June 15, 2021, the government increased the prices of all petroleum products by up to four percent for next 15 days.
