KARACHI: Captain of Pakistan cricket team Sarfraz Ahmad has stated that Pakistan needs the support of world for the revival of cricket.

According to details, Sarfraz urges World Cricket body to consider the efforts and hard work done by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). “Our forces, agencies, army, local govt., police, everyone has made a lot of effort to help PCB. The message is simple for world cricket: Pakistan needs your support and if you support us, then cricket can come back to Pakistan,” he said.

While talking to media in Karachi, Sarfraz further said “Misbah and I have talked quite a lot about my batting. I will try to play at a set number. Babar Azam is at 3 and Haris Sohail at 4 so I will try to consistently bat at number 5 for Pakistan in ODI cricket.”

Reportedly, Pakistan’s newly appointed head coach, Misbah ul Haq also urged the world cricket to better help his country’s efforts to revive international matches, damaged by security problems in the last decade.
