Pakistan-Russia Gas Pipeline Project Started

KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan has been overwhelmed by what previous governments could not do. Pakistan-Russia gas pipeline project has been launched by him.
The North-South gas pipeline project has been delayed since 2015.
In this regard, reports from Islamabad state that Pakistan and Russia have signed an agreement for the construction of a gas pipeline.
The Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline will be set up within 60 days. The project will create vast employment opportunities for Pakistani companies.
The two countries have signed an intergovernmental agreement. The agreement was signed by Pakistan’s Ambassador Shafqat Mahmood and Russia’s Energy Minister. The agreement will accelerate progress on the North-South gas pipeline construction project. The Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline will be set up within 60 days of the agreement.
The company will implement the pipeline project. The agreement also names the project Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline.
