Lahore, 30th June: Pakistan will now hire a British company to take pilot’s license exams.

According to reports from Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Pakistan will hire a UK firm to conduct pilot license exams.

As per details, CAA will soon grant the contract to a British company UKCI to conduct pilot licensing tests against £6 million as per the proposed agreement.

According to sources, the pilots will pay the exam fee in pounds.

However, a local flying school is not happy with the decision to outsource the pilot license exam to a British company.

The flying school’s administration demanded a review of the decision and said that the course is already very expensive and the examination fee will multiply after awarding the contract to a British company.

When asked about the details regarding the proposed contract, the CAA spokesperson refused to make any comment.

It may be recalled that the International Civil Aviation Organization had banned the CAA from conducting pilot license exams. The decision was made after the controversy of fake licenses of pilots emerged after a PIA aircraft crashed in Karachi in 2020.
