KARACHI: Pakistan beats Sri Lanka in the last One Day International (ODI) match and has won the three matches series by 2-0.
According to details, Captain of Sri Lankan cricket team, Lahiru Thirimanne had won the toss and decided to Bat first. While batting first, Sri Lanka scored 297 runs with the lost of 9 wickets in 50 overs, and put a decent target of 298 runs.
Danushka Gunathilaka was the top scorer from Sri Lanka who scored 133 runs, while, fast bowler of Pakistan, Mohammad Amir took 3 important wickets.
While a chasing a target of 298 runs, both Pakistani openers had scored half centuries. Fakhar Zaman scored 76 runs, whereas, Abid Ali scored incredible 74 runs. Pakistan successfully chased the target with 5 wickets remaining in 48.2 overs (10 balls remaining).
Reportedly, Man of the match awards goes to Pakistani opener Abid Ali, while, Man of the series awards goes to Babar Azam. Fans were coming in large numbers to support both teams.
