Pakistani artists mournful on Irrfan Khan’s death
Leading Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan died today at the age of 54. Fans and fellow actors were shocked by the news of his sudden demise.
According to Baaghi TV, leading Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan today passed away at the age of 54. The film fraternity in India and Pakistan is sad at the sudden demise of a talented actor. Pakistani artists and celebrities have expressed their grief on social media.
According to sources, Irrfan Khan was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday when his condition suddenly deteriorated. The report said that the actor had a colon infection for which he was admitted to the hospital. Irrfan Khan is survived by a wife Stapa and two sons, Babeel and Ayan.

Pakistani actor and singer Ali Zafar expressed his grief on Irrfan Khan’s death onTwitter and wrote that he was inspiring and unique.

Pakistani actor Shaan Shahid also expressed his sorrow over the death of Irrfan Khan in a tweet saying that it is really sad news and may his last journey be eased. May Allah give patience to his family. He was a great actor.

Actress Saba Qamar shared a photo taken with actor Irrfan Khan during the shoot of the Bollywood movie ‘Hindi Medium’ and wrote that she is very upset to hear about Irrfan Khan’s demise. Saba Qamar played a leading role opposite Irrfan Khan in the movie. She was really shocked over the news saying, “He taught me a lot as an actor and as a mentor. Such a great actor left very soon.”
Leading Indian actor Irfan Khan passes away
It may be recalled that Irrfan Khan’s mother Saeeda Begum had died a few days ago at the age of 95 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Khan couldn’t attend his mother’s funeral because of the pandemic and lockdown, he attended via video conference.
In 2018 Khan told the media that he was suffering from a neuroendocrine tumor and later he went abroad for treatment. Due to his illness, Irfan Khan could not be a part of the promotion of the film “English Medium”. This was Irfan Khan’s last film.
Irfan Khan was awarded the National Award for his outstanding performance in the film “Paan Singh To Murr”. Irfan Khan has also been a part of several Hollywood projects including Slum Dog Millionaire, Jurassic World, The Amazing Spider, and Life of Pie.
