Pakistani celebs send their warm wishes for Joe Biden

Lahore, 8th November: Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has defeated Donald Trump to become the 46th president of the United States. 

Baaghi TV: While celebrities from all over the world have congratulated the US president-elect, Pakistani artists have also wished Joe Biden on his victory.

Pride of Performance holder Mehwish Hayat termed the recent US presidential election as a test match and said that the results of the election finally came out five days later. She congratulated Biden and her friends in the United States who had been anxiously awaiting the victory.

“Hopefully, Biden’s victory will bring good news for all of us,” Hayat said.

With Biden’s victory, Kamala Harris of the Democratic Party has also been elected as the first woman of colour as a vice president in US history. “You don’t have to be American to appreciate what Kamala Harris’s victory means for women, and especially for women who are black,” Mahwish Hayat wrote.

Singer Fakhr-e-Alam also congratulated Joe Biden on his victory on his Twitter page and said, “Congratulations to Mr President No. 46.”

Singer Quratulain Balouch, who is currently in the United States, shared a photo of herself celebrating Biden’s victory.

Actress Armeena Khan in her tweet expressed happiness over the victory of Kamala Harris and said that she is very happy when women cross new milestones.

People all over the world are celebrating the victory of the Democratic candidates, Joe Biden as the President and Kamala Harris as his Vice President.
