Pakistan’s Government raises Petrol by Rs. 3 for January

Pakistan’s Government declared a Rs3.01 hike in the cost of petroleum attributable to the rising oil prices in the global market, on Saturday.
As indicated by a notice by the Finance Division, other than petroleum, an increment in other oil based commodities will likewise be implemented beginning January 16.
Pakistan’s Government decided that petroleum, with the Rs3.01 increment, will presently cost Rs147.83 per liter, while rapid diesel, with an increment of Rs3, will currently cost Rs144.62 per liter.
Likewise, lamp oil will cost Rs3 more and will in this manner be evaluated at Rs116.48 per liter, while light diesel oil will become Rs3.33 dearer to cost Rs114.54 per liter.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had suggested a Rs5.52 per liter expansion in the cost of petroleum.
