Pakistan’s important role in the United Nations, influenced by the views of Prime Minister Imran Khan, claims newly elected, Volkan Bozkir. According to the reports of Baaghi TV, Prime Minister Imran Khan had a meeting with the President of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, Volkan Bozkir. Visit of newly elected President of the UN General Assembly to MoFA Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi also accompanied him on the occasion. The Prime Minister warmly congratulated Mr. Bozkir on his election as President of the historic 75th session of the UN General Assembly. During the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan apprised the PGA elected officials of the dire situation in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an issue that has been on the UN Security Council agenda for more than seven decades. Prime Minister Imran Khan highlighted the serious and human rights situation in Occupied Kashmir from 5 August 2019, as well as human rights violations of the Kashmiri people and efforts to change the demographic structure of the Occupied Territories.
