Pakistan’s Tourism & the ‘unprecedented’ beauty of Gilgit-Baltistan

Gilgit-Baltistan is an unparalleled, everlasting, beautiful, and special gift by Allah Almighty to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Marvelous mountains, peaks and glaciers, beautiful valleys, countless waterfalls, dense forests, clear spring water, and endless lush plains are home to a variety of sweet fruits and beautiful flowers.

Today, the world is making a lot of money from the tourism sector but unfortunately, the previous governments did not pay much attention to the tourism sector within Pakistan due to which this sector has lagged far behind the others. It should be noted that Switzerland is earning billions of rupees every year from the tourism sector alone, although they do not have as many beautiful landscapes as there are in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan region.

In the times to come, Pakistan may earn billions of rupees from it annually, given that proper care and maintenance are ensured. We are very grateful to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan who preferred tourism in Gilgit-Baltistan over the previous governments. Moreover, he hopes that the beauty of Gilgit-Baltistan will be mentioned at the world level and tourists will appreciate its beauty. The main reason for not taking it is the dilapidated tourist places on the road which are a problem for the tourists. We hope and appeal to the government to pay attention to these things, which will be a real chance for the time to come.

Today, the eyes of the world are on Pakistan, especially the region of Gilgit-Baltistan, because the biggest projects in history, including the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Diamer Bhasha Dam, are in full swing. If Pakistan completes these projects, then in the future, Pakistan will join the list of developed countries and become a strong and cohesive power.

Moreover, the biggest rivals of Pakistan including India and Israel, cannot digest the progressive developments and are thinking of keeping us weak so now by any means external forces want to spread chaos and unrest in Pakistan, like in the past. They are trying their best to keep us from completing the CPEC and Diamer Bhasha Dam projects but, now the people of Gilgit-Baltistan have become conscious. For those who are spreading unrest like in the past, these locals are well aware of the nefarious intentions of the community and the enemy, so they are determined to thwart every conspiracy.

Finally, we hope to forward the message to all domestic and foreign tourists so that they can visit the beauty that is, Gilgit-Baltistan. K2 is also the second-highest peak in the world, along with high glaciers, springs, waterfalls, lush mountains. There are beautiful valleys and dense forests. Astur Mani Marg Valley, Kalshai, Babusar Top, Ghutti Das, Hunza, Ghizr, Skardu, Khanjrab Top, Gahgoch, etc. are the beautiful places here. It is also done with hospitality. The way Prime Minister Imran Khan is working in Gilgit-Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan will be a great destination for tourists in the future.
