ISLAMABAD: The Palestinian Embassy expressed its gratitude to the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The Palestinian state has reportedly thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for his “strong response” to Israel and for supporting Palestinian goals.
A statement issued by the Palestinian embassy in Islamabad also thanked the government for condemning the Israeli aggression against Palestine.
The statement said: “Palestinians consider Pakistan as their second home and the dearest brother, who have always supported Palestine in every forum in the world.”
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan had yesterday said on the peace agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel that Pakistan’s position is very clear that we can never recognize Israel unless the Palestinians get their due.
In an exclusive interview on the Dunya News program “Dunya with Kamran Khan” relating to the two-year performance of his government, the Prime Minister had said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had said that if the Palestinians get the right, then we will admit Israel.

Imran Khan had said that if we recognize Israel, then we have to leave occupied Kashmir as well because the issue is the same for both. In the context of the agreement between the UAE and Israel, he said that each state is responsible for its own foreign policy.
In a statement issued today, officials at the Palestinian embassy in Islamabad said the Pakistani government has always supported their cause. Embassy said that they appreciated the position of the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in response to the question about Israel.
The statement said that Israeli-Pakistani relations could never be established because of the love of Pakistanis for Palestine. In a statement, the embassy thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for his strong response and praised Pakistanis, including all political parties, media and civil society, for expressing solidarity with Palestine in any way.
“We hope that Pakistan’s support will remain with us until Jerusalem is recognized as the capital of a Palestinian state,” the statement said.
