Pandemic likely to last two years: Study suggests
A study by the experts on the pandemic states that COVID-19 is likely to last as long as two years or until one-third of the population gets immune to it. According to the experts, because of its ability to spread from people who don’t appear to be ill, the virus may be hard to control than Influenza. The people may be at their most infectious before showing the symptoms. The experts suggest that the countries may ease down their lockdowns and start reopening their businesses and activities, yet the virus may likely continue in waves that could last till 2022.
