Ramiz Raja, chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), appoints Matthew Hayden, a former Australian cricket player, as the Head Coach of Pakistan in the T20 World Cup.
According to the details, Matthew Hayden, who is also one of the board members of Australia-India Council (AIC) Board has been chosen to guide the Pakistan cricket team in the upcoming cricket tournament.
Sources claim, Hayden is ranked in the top category of batsmen; however, he has no experience in coaching a team. Despite his blooming career in cricket, it is unlikely that he will be able to take team Pakistan any further than they have already achieved on their own.

Experience is a top priority when it comes to training a team, which is something Matthew Hayden does not have.
As per reports, his involvement, or in this case, being a member of the AIC Board may cloud his judgements. Many sources have claimed that he is at this top position today due to his ties with the Chairman PCB, Ramiz Raja.
Whilst this is a great news for the masses, it may be that this is all based on nepotism. The question that stands is, was this appointment based on talents or solely upon the favouritism?

It is no secret that India and Pakistan have been on a quest to achieve the top most title of being the best in cricket; therefore, it does put a question mark on this decision.
