PDM Chief asks PPP and ANP to review their decision

Lahore, 13th April: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has asked the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Awami National Party (ANP) to review their decision regarding their resignations.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman asked the PPP and the ANP on Tuesday to review their decision of leaving the Opposition alliance PDM.
While addressing a press conference after an important meeting held in Islamabad, the PDM chief said that both parties still have time to rethink their decision of parting ways with PDM.
The meeting was held at Fazlur Rehman’s residence without the PPP and ANP’s participation. PDM chief stated that PDM is an alliance of opposition parties and if any party is found violating the agreement then it is to be held answerable.
It is to be noted that PDM held an important session today after the party leaders from PPP submitted their resignations to Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Tuesday.
It is also pertinent to mention here that both PPP and ANP have decided to part ways with the PDM after a show-cause notice was served to them by the PDM to explain why they took the support of a government ally in appointing Yousaf Raza Gillani as the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate.
