PDM Rally: Half Empty Jinnah Stadium

Lahore, 16th October: A meeting of the anti-government coalition PDM is underway in Gujranwala today.

Maryam Nawaz and Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman have left Lahore to attend the rally. Bilawal Zardari will reach Gujranwala from Lala Musa. Leaders of other opposition parties will also address the rally.

According to a Baaghi TV correspondent, half of the venue of Jinnah Stadium venue is vacant. Even the four parties have not been able to fill the venue yet. 

MPA Taufiq Butt says the government has closed tent service and chair shops, which has reduced the number of seats, so we will be in the thousands.

Extra coronavirus SOPs were followed while installing chairs in Gujranwala meeting, i.e two meters distance was kept in each chair instead of one meter, while workers who came to the meeting hall forgot to use mask, two meters distance between chairs. The venue could not be filled yet.

Participants of the rally are holding flags of their respective parties while slogans are being chanted on the stage of the leader of their respective party. It has happened, the media was also insulted in the hall, on which the PML-N spokesperson came and celebrated the media.
