Pentagon Lockdown After Firing Near Metro Station
Washington: The Pentagon was on lockdown Tuesday morning with no personnel allowed outside after multiple gunshots were fired near a platform by the facility’s Metro station.
According to the details, the US media has reported that an emergency situation has been observed at the Pentagon headquarters of the US Department of Defense located in the US state of Virginia. The Pentagon building was reportedly closed, and no one was allowed in or out of the building.
In this regard, Pentagon officials have appealed to the public to refrain from turning to the area due to the current situation.

According to US media, the Pentagon building has been closed after the shooting incident. The shooting took place at a bus stop near the building, after which the building was locked down. Awaiting further details in this regard.
