People Grooving to the PSL 2021 Anthem

Lahore, 7th February: PSL 2021 anthem ‘Groove Mera’ is winning hearts of the public.

Baaghi TV: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 is just a few weeks away and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the new anthem for the PSL 6.

What surprised everyone was the choice of Naseebo Lal by the organisers to sing the opening track along with Aima Baig.

However, her melodic voice and chic image in the music video excited the PSL fans who showered accolades of praise on the veteran singer on social media.

The Karachi Kings on their Twitter account not only praised the song but said that it is aesthetically great.

The new PSL anthem is out. Naseebo Lal. Young stunners. Such a visual treat too.

A Twitterati predicted that the Naseebo Lal part of the song will be on repeat in the stadiums.

However, some users did not spare the anthem with criticising it:

It is to be noted that the song, ‘Groove Mera’, features Naseebo Lal, Aima Baig, and Young Stunners.

PCB stated that the song refers to the swing and feel of the movements of cricketers and said, “It refers to moments of finesse that one finds in the heart of every cricket match.”

The anthem is a pure depiction of music diversity in Pakistan and shows a mix of artists from opposite ends of the musical spectrum.
