People should follow SOPs on Eid to avoid a fourth wave of covid-19: Dr. Qaiser Sajjad

Secretary General of Pakistan Medical Association Dr. Qaiser Sajjad says that corona cases are increasing again in the country. If precaution is not taken then there is a danger of  a fourth wave of corona virus.

According to the details, Dr. Qaiser Sajjad said that the citizens have stopped following the SOPs which is alarming.

He appealed to the citizens to implement SOPs and refrain from hugging and shaking hands on Eid and people should be vaccinated without delay.

On the other hand, Dr Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan for Health, said that last week’s figures showed an increase in cases of corona virus.

The positivity rate has jumped from 1.78% to 3% which is further expected to rise in the coming days.
