Peshawar blast kills child, injures several

According to Baaghi TV, an explosion has taken place in Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Rescue teams rushed to the spot. A heavy contingent of police also reached the spot. According to rescue officials, a house on Qadirabad Gulbahar Road exploded due to a gas leak. Three ambulances of Rescue 1122 and firefighters reached the spot and started rescue operations. Six people were injured and taken to hospital for first aid.

One of the injured children died, according to rescue officials. The injured include mothers, fathers and children who were guests from Lahore to Peshawar. Rescue 1122 firefighters also contained the fire in the house. A room and courtyard were also gutted by the gas leak.

It should be noted that there was a cylinder explosion in Peshawar yesterday. There were also blasts in Nowshera and Rawalpindi. The blast took place near the Pir Wadhai base in Rawalpindi. Police and rescue teams rushed to the spot on information that a rickshaw exploded near the Pir Wadhai base in Rawalpindi. After which the rickshaw caught fire, 6 people were burnt by the fire and they were shifted to the hospital for medical treatment. According to eyewitnesses, the rickshaw caught fire after a loud noise.

Earlier, a cylinder and a gas leak explosion occurred at a house on Momin Town Dilla Zak Road in Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rescue 1122 team reached the spot on notification. Two rescue 1122 ambulances reached the spot and started rescue operations. The blast injured six people who were rushed to a hospital with first aid. The condition of the injured is out of danger, including two children.
