Petition filed against appointment of CDA Board members, judgement reserved by IHC

ISLAMABAD, July 20 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved judgment on maintainability of petition filed against appointment of CDA Board’s members.
Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Athar Minallah took up the case for hearing Monday.
The court reserved the judgment after hearing the arguments of the counsel for the petitioner.
The counsel for petitioner told the court that some members of CDA Board have been assigned additional charge and some have been assigned temporary charges .CDA Board’s members are holding two charges each.
During the hearing of the course the CJ inquired what is interest of the petitioner in this case.

The counsel for the petitioner told the court the petitioner Farrukh Bhatti is a journalist.
Upon it CJ remarked he should then give application in Prime Minster portal. If his application is given no heed in PM Portal then he should come to court. There is elected Prime Minister (PM). He should bring the matter to the notice of PM through portal. You should know that the cases which are pending here impact the entire judiciary. There are several other cases which are pending here. The cases of people are pending here since the last 15 years. When a separate forum in connection with such applications is there then you should go there.
