Petition filed in LHC for cancellation of PPSC examinations

Lahore, (8th August, 2020): Petition filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) for cancellation of Punjab Public Service Commission examinations for 2020.

According to reports, the petition stated that all educational institutions are closed due to Coronavirus so, it is impossible to prepare students because all coaching centers, libraries and academies are closed as well.

Students from other cities taking the exam have different housing issues because all hostels are also closed. The petitioners, through Advocate Mian Asif, requested that the examinations be held in December as per the schedule of PPSC.

Moreover, every year the PPSC exam is taken in December, so why is it that this time they are being held ahead of time?

According to reports, the petition will be heard by Justice Jawad Al Hassan on Monday morning.
