CEO Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Air Marshal Arshad Malik met up with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi wherein they discussed various matters of import. 

According to reports, CEO PIA Air Marshall Arshad Malik sat down together with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood and briefed him regarding the Kabul operation. He thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its consistent support and tireless cooperation.

The Foreign Minister praised PIA’s role in evacuating Pakistanis and foreigners from Kabul, for which it was recognized all over the world. PIA’s role, bravery, and philanthropy were greatly appreciated.

Furthermore, the meeting also discussed possible PIA Jalalabad and Mazar-e-Sharif operations in the near future. Recently, the airline company was highly instrumental in forming a humanitarian air bridge in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan’s fourth-largest city, wherein a special plane carrying food, medicines, and necessities were taken for Afghanis.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi urges friendly countries and their airlines to support PIA in enforcing bilateral air agreements and offer aid to the people of Afghanistan.
