IG Punjab reviews recruitment process of new personnel in police

Lahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani has said that the second phase of recruitment of personnel in Punjab Police should be completed as soon as possible and supervisory officers should complete other stages including written examination under their supervision as soon as possible.

He further said that while keeping the recruitment process completely transparent, the observance of merit should be ensured in every possible way so that capable and hardworking human resources could be made a part of Punjab Police and they may perform their duties of service and protection of public with diligence. He issued these instructions to the officers while presiding over a meeting on recruitment of new personnel at the Central Police Office here today. During the meeting, the progress of recruitment process in the police force was reviewed in detail.
Ali Amir Malik, Additional IG Establishment, while informing about the ongoing steps regarding the second phase of recruitment, said that the testing agency has been shortlisted for the written test. He further said that the candidates who have cleared the physical test should prepare for the written test and the date of the test will be announced soon. During the meeting, he assured to complete the remaining stages of recruitment of officers soon.
