PIA’s IOSA Registration has been successfully renewed till 2023
National airline PIA has bagged a world honor for two years, with the national airline successfully renewing its IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration.
According to PIA sources, the IATA Operational Safety Audit Organization (IOSA) has successfully resolved and completed the PIA audit results, after which the PIA registration will be valid for another 2 years.
It should also be noted that an external audit is conducted every 2 years for the renewal of this prestigious and important security certificate by an international organization restricted to certified airlines.
It is also pertinent to mention here that PIA has been facing challenges for last one year, they conducted 2 audits, the first of which was limited in scope, while the second detailed audit operations, flight services (cabin operations). There was a full scope audit covering quality assurance, safety management, security services, engineering, ground handling, flight dispatch, and cargo operations.
PIA CEO congratulated the airline staff and said that the success of IOSA registration is due to their hard work and dedication.
He further said that PIA’s first priority is to provide safe travel to its passengers. PIA will never compromise on their safety. He said that PIA will soon become the most safe and reliable airline.
